"My family and I stayed at Wakehurst, it had everything we needed for a cosy and chilled getaway. Lots of nice touches, just be careful not to have the wood burner going too strong before sleeping cos the top can get very warm - figured out how to adjust the fire and everything else at the dome through the helpful guides/qr code accessible videos provided. Hot tub was amazing, they have it warmed up in advance when you arrive and the weather was good enough for us to enjoy the BBQ properly....

"Becky is an amazing host, met us on our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything or had any questions and helped with bags! Our stay was very enjoyable - seclusion of camping with the luxury of hot showers and the outdoor bath. Our kids loved the hammock. Baby cows in the field made it for us! Easy ramble to village store/cafe and two pubs."

It really felt like we were guests in someone's home. Perfectly situated in the middle of the old town, with lots of the local attractions, including the beach, in easy walking distance. "An amazing house and a truly warm welcome from Alex and Kerry. We were served a well cooked English breakfast each morning that kept us going to the evening. There was a log fire in the lounge every evening and we had a well presented bedroom with a modern and spacious en-suite. If low ceilings are not your thing then it's probably best to avoid a 15th Century town house for your break. "
