"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

"Lovely property right on the seafront. Within 2 minutes walk of bars and restaurants in St Leonards and 15 minutes walk of Hastings town. Lovely owner, very welcoming. Comfy, clean rooms. "

"Room exactly how advertised, bathroom was immaculate and overall room was great. Perfect location. Nice vintage feel but is clearly very well kept. The front door and room having electronic keypad with codes was very handy meaning no need to check in and easy access in and out. More than enough space for the two of us. Room was bright and airy. We had to then try to find somewhere to accommodate 8 people in less than two days over an Easter break. I would advise against booking this.."

Our stay was very enjoyable - seclusion of camping with the luxury of hot showers and the outdoor bath. Our kids loved the hammock. Baby cows in the field made it for us! Easy ramble to village store/cafe and two pubs."

"My family and I stayed at Wakehurst, it had everything we needed for a cosy and chilled getaway. Lots of nice touches, just be careful not to have the wood burner going too strong before sleeping cos the top can get very warm - figured out how to adjust the fire and everything else at the dome through the helpful guides/qr code accessible videos provided. Hot tub was amazing, they have it warmed up in advance when you arrive and the weather was good enough for us to enjoy the BBQ properly....
