"People comment on the dated rooms and feel to this hotel, but that's what we liked about it. We legitimately explored the floors, the basement, the weird nooks and crannies. All of it. It felt like we were transported back to the 30s. Sure, there are things about it that are dated and in poor condition, but it honestly just felt very retro and vintage. I don't think I've ever stayed in hotel that felt like it. It worked very well for us and a 6 year old."

"The staff was VERY good at accommodating us when we were in town early due to the snowstorms in Louisville. Check in time was 3 but we rolled in early around 11 and by noon they had found us a room for ourselves and our dog."

"The room was nice! Clean. Bathroom fan didn’t work and heat from shower shows some mold on ceiling. Everything was clean. Hotel lobby/elevators smelled like cigarette smoke at times but could’ve just been other guests. People kept opening door at the pool to smoke and the smell kept coming inside. Overall though-really nice stay and would go back. Breakfast was good too. Plenty of options. "

"My only complaint is that the heater kept going on and off and really made it hard for me to sleep, even though zi sleep with headphones on. I have stayed there many times and never had the problem before."
