"We rented this property for the past holiday. This was my first time staying somewhere without WiFi, and a nearby Walmart and I would definitely do it again. We went during off season so it wasn’t a lot of excursions offered but we all made the most of our time by hiking, taking in the beautiful scenery/animal watching, making s’mores , and spending quality time together. The drive up to it was a bit scary if you’re not used to one lane winding roads but we managed. There’s also a dollar store about 10/15 away that is fully stocked with anything you may need for your stay as well as the camp store. Would recommend 10/10!"

"The Lake House Cottage was perfect for my husband, dogs, and myself. We loved the addition of the loft in this cottage because it worked perfectly as a storage area and allowed us to utilize the space more effectively. The view of lake is wonderful, and the cozy porch was very cozy. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a few days during October. This was our first visit to Arkansas. Magnolia Cottage was a perfect place to stay for 2 people. The cottage has pretty much everything we needed. The kitchen is equipped with what is needed to prepare basic meals and we used the charcoal grill outside the cottage. We appreciated that it was located in a quiet, wooded area on Lake Ouachita which is a less populated lake away from the busyness of Hot Springs. It is an easy drive from the cottage to area attractions near Hot Springs. There is a great trailhead down the road that we hiked for a couple hours. Garvan Woodland Gardens is a must see. We did the trolley car ride in Hot Springs which gave us some great information about the area and the history of the city. We are native Minnesotans and are now living in Texas. We wanted to find something that reminded us of our cabin in northern Minnesota and this did not disappoint. The lakes in this area are beautiful! We definitely would return here."
