"This was a pretty hotel with a convenience store on the same block. Nice room. Elevators were a bit slow. Parking garage had a steep entrance, but was right under the hotel. Mile walk to the beach. We got used to it."

No. What it is is a reasonably priced hotel that you can park your rental car at without paying $50 (or more) a day to park it, so you can go see ALL of Oahu and not be trapped in Waikiki. "Only stayed for one night for the Honolulu Marathon. I had other accommodations on Island but need a place in Waikiki for the event day. The property knew this and yet went above & beyond to accommodate everything we needed & more! Late checkout, parking options, a room change, EVERYTHING! Spoke with Tracy the date before check in to see what options we had and he was extremely helpful! He checked us in the next day and everything was in place for us as he promised.
