"The hotel was quiet even in a room next to the elevator. It was very clean and has a great location. There were only a few small issues. 2 conditioners in the shower instead of shampoo and conditioner. The ceiling had paint flaking off in a few areas. Overall it was a decent hotel and the location was convenient to most everything."

"Booked this as as a couples getaway for my husband and myself. I was very surprised at how quiet this hotel was being in a busy city area but it sits on a hill above the main road so you hear and see no traffic. It was very clean and updated. I was the most impressed with the fact there was a walk in shower as opposed to the standard tub/shower unit (I have a disability that makes it difficult to step into a tub unit but i dont require a roll in shower) this made me feel so much less anxious...

"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable.
