"My partner and my kids stayed here for 5 nights while visiting my family in the area for Christmas. The cabin is spacious with comfortable and attractive furnishings, and the kitchen is large and has everything you need. We were there during an extreme cold snap and so there were a few weather-related maintenance issues, and I was so impressed with how quickly Rosa and her husband addressed them. She even had the cabin decorated for Christmas, lit tree and all, which was such a lovely surprise....

"The cabin was great, very cute and exactly fit my needs, the owners were very accurate in information listed. The property had all of the amenities for a great stay that makes you feel just far enough from real life that you get a much needed break from daily life. The owners were very helpful and I was very happy with their care and keeping of the property in the middle of a wind and snow storm. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m going on a ski vacation to Elk Mountain....

"Location was great and loved being on the lake other than that we had issues. The floors were not swept or mopped. We swept and mopped. Baseboards were dirty as well as the mantel. Smoke detectors were beeping. Someone dropped off batteries at 4am so we had to replace. Air was very musty so we pulled the a/c filters out and they were filthy. We cleaned. "I really understood why is no pictures of the outside part of the property once l arrived. The house looks terrible outside, old and not well maintained. Garbage was on the front porch when we arrived. No tables or chairs to sit on back deck or around fire pit. Toaster was not working. Bathroom downstairs had a sign on the shower of Do not use, and only two bathrooms for 9 people! Back door screen door was broken it was falling down every time we needed to go out. "This cabin was very beautiful and the amenities were lovely! We enjoyed the firepit and the cleanliness of the place (we stayed after another group had been there for 2 weeks, and you couldn't tell at all, which is amazing!). The space was pet-friendly which we appreciated and the table was spacious enough for some material-hefty board games! Unfortunately, there are no curtains in the living room or one of the bedrooms (making sleeping pretty difficult in those areas) and the second bedroom...
