"It’s a pub so don’t expect 5 star. But for the price you pay, it was clean and had what was advertised. The staff were absolutely lovely, that really stood out. The value for money was there and I felt very welcome. I would stay again. "

"The staff were very friendly, helpful and good at there jobs. Food was excellent, room clean, but needed better locks on doors, and TV that worked. Bathrooms clean plenty of water, some sort of breakfast would be a good idea, had to drive about 12 klm to get decent coffee and something to eat Would stay there again, great place"

"This must have been a very "up market" establishment originally. As a hostel it is great although the gardens are in need of some TLC but we were well looked after and everything in the kitchen and lounge area were modern, tastefully presented and welcoming. We were in Room 3 with it's own onsuite. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of room for our belongings. No problem driving into town for dinner as we didn't use the kitchen. Hope it prospers!"
