It’s a pub so don’t expect 5 star. But for the price you pay, it was clean and had what was advertised. The staff were absolutely lovely, that really stood out. The value for money was there and I felt very welcome. I would stay again.

Courteous uniformed staff and good facilities. A cut above the usual country pub accommodation. We stayed in one of the elevated units; not the pub rooms or motel rooms.

The room was as advertised, it was clean, spacious & comfortable. Bathroom amenities not far from room & clean. The staff on check in were friendly, welcoming & so very helpful. My only negative was the noise of doors & corridor & bathroom noise during the night at all hours preventing sleep.

We stayed in a pub room upstairs (no.3) and it was great value. We stayed 2 nights for $115, and we were very pleased with everything. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the showers (shared) were great. There was a bit of traffic noise as we were on the road side (which you'd expect as its on the highway), but if you shut the blind, it muffled it quite well. But we like waking up in a light room, so before we went to sleep, we opened the blind and put on our trusty white noise app and had no trouble sleeping. A great place to stay that was super easy on the wallet and so close to the lovely Pokolbin.

You literally step from your room into the beer garden. The pool table is also in the beer garden. It was obvious we would not be able to sleep here so we left and found other accommodation. We did consider asking for a room upstairs but those rooms overlook the main road which is very busy with noisy heavy vehicles.
