Check in was quick and the employee working (I didn't get his name) was very friendly and had a lot of tips for places to eat and shops in the area. The hotel itself was very nice, nicer than most Motel 6's I've stayed at in the past. "The decor of the spa suite was very traditional with extreme pops of 60s 70s cabin farm house style but it did not seem old in need of repair …infact it was in great condition and even the wood bed frame was solid 70s design and the whole layout made you feel like you were really on a home away from home. The jacuzzi tub in spa suite made the room romantic and the tv and boulder rock fireplace in view felt like farm house with luxury hotel feeling but without any hotel vibes…highly recommend...

"The room was fine. Bed was a little hard but comfortable enough. Bathroom tub faucet was leaking significantly. The motel sits under a freeway pass so it was a little noisey but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was courteous. "

"Nice cozy hotel located walking distance from the village, shopping mall, dinning area and the big bear lake. the room and bathroom needs some upgrades and repairs as the shower knob was kind of broken. The font desk people were very nice and courteous. Overall we liked the place. I give 4.5 stars. "
