"We loved staying at this hotel......as soon as we walked in it smelt clean and fresh. Its location is great.....literally 2 mins from the shops and local restaurants. We walked around till about 9pm and felt extremely safe especially with having our children with us. The light show at the Minster is a must......WOW....it was amazing! We have stayed many times in York before but now we've just found our favourite hotel and at a great price."

"I don't care about some negative review in this place. All I need is a place to sleep with while spending my holiday in York. And this place is perfect. It has everything I need (towel, toiletries, refreshments). Very clean and tidy. Nice toilet and shower. Location, it is very near in bus stops that could take you in a few minutes to the city center. I enjoy my stay here as much as I enjoy traveling York. I just want a little suggestion to atleast have a microwave oven so we can buy ready to...

"Overall was better than expected although the window of n my room was small, high up & made the room cell like. The toiletries were good quality, the room looked nice & breakfast was nice reasonable although they had no vegetarian sausages. Although the rooms decor was good overall there were 2 things that let it down, firstly there was nowhere to hang anything as the wardrobe had no hangers and there was no hook behind the door for a coat, secondly & more importantly the bed was terrible...
