"It was really nice! We stayed in cottage 10 and the host really has added some nice touches. It is decorated really cute and there are robes, slippers, ear plugs, nice shampoo etc. It was quiet and mellow. This unit has a kitchenette with a little coffee pot and supplies. "This is a very dated property, and the property's location down winding side roads was hard to find and not very close to Grass Valley/ Nevada City. The facility dates back to the 1960's, and it shows its age and some neglect. Little has been done to maintain or update it. All that said, the staff was nice, and they do offer one of the few opportunities for short term accommodations at a reasonable price. "My partner and I found this to be a perfect getaway spot. Having access to the sun room made all the difference as the room itself is not large but it served our needs just fine. The icing on the cake is the continental breakfast the host put out each morning which was truly beautiful. You can tell the hosts care for their property and are proud of their offering. We enjoyed the hot tub and being in the greenery!"

"Animals were very cute and the host was very laid back and responsive. The place is pretty small and not emuculate so people looking for a more hotel like experience may be disappointed but it worked fine for us."

Then I was told that my amount owed was $30 less than what I already paid. When we went up to the room it was old, dirty not well kept, nor was it safe.
