"Very interesting diamond in the rough. Outside appearance would suggest a single star. But....the staff, layout, accommodations and 'home town' comfort of the rooms WELL make up for it! Would recommend this location to family, friends, or anyone coming to the area! Only downside....during my stay...the steakhouse is closed for renovations. So had to drive 3 minutes to get food. "

"The proprietor was very responsive to our requests and helpful getting me signed into the internet. The room was very clean and adequate for our needs. The only thing was the fire alarm went off three separate times, very briefly between 2 and 3 am. We left very early, around 5 am, and did not speak with the owners. I would definitely stay there again but would report the fire alarm if it happened again."

"This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. We stayed at the lodge. It has been completely updated, but the rooms are still very small. The room was functional though. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. There was a microwave to use down the hall. There are no bad views from the lodge as far as I could tell. We woke every morning to a view of the horses grazing in the pasture. There is a restaurant and a bar downstairs, a game room, indoor and outdoor pools,...

"We loved every part of our stay and highly recommend this home for families! The home was nice, clean and well decorated. We really appreciated the extra effort to provide snacks for the kids and toiletries in each bathroom. The pool was a favorite and the view of the lake from the deck and pool is beautiful. The games and foosball table were a great distraction for the kids in case of bad weather. We had a great time using the kayaks offered and loved that a boat ramp was available."
