"Loved the hot tub and the lake. do not be like me and get dropped off at the front entrance - bring a car! they were nice enough to give me rides to and from the cottage, however once I arrived at my cabin I didn't leave"

"We enjoyed this fabulous home in December to celebrate a family friendly 40th birthday. The house had plenty of room, beautiful views and all the amenities. We had four families-each adult couple had their own room on the main floors and the children all fit perfectly in the nicely finished basement. There were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the necessities. We also enjoyed the nearby local breweries/restaurants that had lots of room for our big group. "

"We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. "

"The photos of this property do not do it justice- it is absolutely beautiful. The privacy is so nice, and the house itself was wonderful. We had our adult children there for Christmas dinner- and I’m quite sure they will be renting this house in the future. "The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional.
