"My room was clean with fresh sheets and duvet on a comfortable bed. I loved the walk-in ceramic shower. The curtains show a little wear but that did not bother me. The location cannot be surpassed as you can walk to many restsurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again. There are some renovations going on, but again, that did not bother me. The owner was most cordial and welcoming. I did not try the included breakfast because I was exhausted and slep in the first morning. The 2nd...

"The hotel was clean and nice. The only downside was the TV didn’t work. It would power on and the Marriott stuff would come up but when you went to actual channels it would stay black. Told the front desk and they offered to change rooms but that was more of a hassle having to repack everything."

"We were not told it was under construction but they offered to get us another hotel. We checked out our room and it was newly renovated and clean so we stayed. Breakfast had lots of choices."

"This was a lovely hotel right in the middle of town. There’s no front desk so you’ll get your room number and codes for the front door and your room before you arrive, which is fine with us. The building is beautiful and the lobby is really inviting. Our room was spacious and really nicely furnished, and super clean. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Hudson. "

"Alander is a great place to stay. Room is spacious clean. Bed is comfortable and nice. Decor is over the top. Bathroom is neat and clean. Most of all the staff is accommodating, accessible and responsive to our request even it was late. Love the idea of promoting local products. Love the coffee! The restaurant North Star is superb food was great. Hopefully we can go back in spring. Despite the snowstorm we still enjoyed our stay. "
