"Excellent place to stay in Aoraki Mt Cook Nat'l Park with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. We appreciated the on site laundry, lounge areas, and the sauna! Dining options are limited in the park (~3 restaurants). Even though they're all good, you may want to plan ahead and bring groceries to take advantage of the communal kitchen area at the hostel. Helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. We loved our experience here!"

"Beds were comfortable, quiet at night. We had workmen making building noise (banging, drilling) outside our room for both afternoons, which was really annoying and hopeless given the cost of the room. Overall, clean and well run, weird having to put our sheets out with the room cost!"

"Friendly staff, let us check in early, park right outside room, laundry nearby with free detergent, large clean room with fully stocked kitchen. We ate dinner one night at the Hermitage Hotel and preferred this hotel and were glad we didnt pick Hermitage to stay at because this motel felt quieter and more easily accessible. It was the best choice in Mt Cook for us. The only improvement would be that it's a row of motel rooms and some, like ours, had some of the mountain views blocked by other...

"Spent 5 nights. Staff was very accommodating. Room was good. Had breakfast and dinner included. Overall it was nice but over priced. Not considered a five star."

"You get what you pay for and I couldn't complain as we were a late booking. We had everything we needed, comfortable bed, hot shower and private bathroom. Jesus (spanish manager) did all he could to accomodate us. If you want 5 star and want to pay 4 times the price stay elsewhere but this was very suitable for us, no complaints here 😊"

"The room we had was great. Very good sound proofing. Spaciou room.Comfortable chairs. Ex bed. Office area was ex. 2 things though - cafe and dining area was closed and our room had only 2 cups, 1 wine glass. Electric jug. No spoons or crockery. Car park weedy and scruffy. "
