"The hotel was extremely convenient as it was close to Bayonne railway station and a walk just across the road. The room was basic but extremely clean, staff polite and I’d certainly stay there again. No bar or real restaurant but a buffet breakfast was available for an extra charge. Very easy to walk across the bridge to Bayonne old city and find numerous bars and restaurants so really not an issue. "

"The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful. The area is surrounded by restaurants. It has good transport links and serval places were in walking distance. The only thing I would like to improve is the breakfast there isn’t much of a selection so there isn’t really a point in paying for it. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"The room smelled a little of cigarette smoke, which may have drifted in from the open window before we’d arrived quite late, or had come from a previous visitor. There was a used plaster on the floor - cleaning not great. The bed is very comfortable but, as always in B&B, just one thin pillow each. "
