"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. "The house is very well placed for the beach (though not overlooking it), walks, the shop and Gustav's bar and restaurant (recommended). We were surprised to find the downstairs bedroom was not self-contained, so the other couple had to walk through to access the very steep stairs, the bathroom and the lavatory. The standard of equipment was high - sophisticated hob/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but no dinner knives! Noirmoutier is glorious."

The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins.
