"The Comfort Inn in Mount Airy was such a pleasant surprise. We were looking for something moderately priced, close to the historic downtown (Mayberry) and were willing to compromise on accommodations. The Comfort Inn is a gem! "Hotel was awesome. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean, our room was super comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. Waffles, fresh fruit. Yogurt, oatmeal, juice, cereal boxes, milk, hardboiled eggs, omlet, chicken sausage, toast, bagels, muffins. All sirts if toppings for waffles and add uns for oatmeal. I wonderful tea selection as well as different types of coffee. Will definitely come back here next time we are in the area."
