"We actually live nearby and a place to getaway for a day while some maintenance work was being done at our place. So we decided to stay here. Originally it was for one night but because of the weather we had to stay longer. Hopefully the parking lot and entrance to the hotel will be clear so our ride home will be safe. The hotel room is nice and clean. The staff our nice.The breakfast is good. The location is real good if you want food delivery or you want to go out. We might come here often just to getaway once in awhile. Our kitty cats like it too. They want to stay instead of going home. So we'll bring them back to."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the cabin was perfect for us, traveling with our dog. The cabin is spotless, as pictured in the VRBO listing, and the furnishings are comfortable and well-supplied. Our host supplied yummy raisin bread, milk, OJ, and a candy treat - a special touch we typically do not experience renting a VRBO. We decided to make a quick trip to the grocery store to buy some breakfast items after seeing we were adequately supplied with pans/utensils, which was a good call on our part so we could relax and enjoy breakfast at the cabin. A cute little cat named Mr Jingles likes to visit the front porch and is very meek/laid-back. We weren't sure how that would turn out with our dog, but it was pleasantly surprising, as they were friends, and no "hair-raising" incidents occurred. Mt Airy is approximately 6 miles away, easy to locate, and full of fun. A great recommendation by the host for a restaurant was 13 Bones - great food & service. We ventured out on our own for a ground steak sandwich at the Dairy Center, Thai food at Thai Cafe, and Angry Troll Brewing for bar food. Every restaurant was good! Be sure to stroll downtown & the Mayberry set. There is a store called the Sock Factory - good deal on socks! We never made it to the wineries because we were so relaxed hanging at the cabin, surrounded by their beautiful farm. We highly recommend this cabin to all of those seeking a low-key restful stay! "

"Beautiful home! We had snacks and treats—first time ever to have a home provide these and drinks! Very nice touch! We also had an anniversary banner which was so special! Great stay and great location—just a 10 min walk but Mt. Airy has a ton of parking in their charming downtown area! We had great food recommendations and an easy checkout!"
