"The hostel was open for barely three months when we stayed over. Everything was brand new, clean and smart. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, as were the shared restrooms. There is a beautiful terrace and the location is really terrific, just at the foothills of the university and incredible library."

"Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. "

"Isabel and Ema gave us a really warm welcome. We got an upgrade. The room was son meticulously arranged and the building is tastefully decorated. "The place is good enough for the price but, the rooms have no mosquito netting on the windows so you can't sleep with the window open. We got badly bitten in the night by mosquitos and there is no aircon as expected for the price, the room did not even have a fan. We went home a day early because we did not want another night. "

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Magical Sintra
"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a unique updated traditional style. The staff went out of their way to answer questions and make sure our stay was comfortable. One point to be aware of is the parking they provide is at a sister property a ways away and can make luggage drop off and pick up a bit complicated. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (and the amazing breakfast) and wished we could have stayed longer!"
