"Have stayed here a couple of times and it has always been very convenient, and I will stay here again. I would recommend staying here. All this said, the building is showing signs of age, wear and tear. Could use some fresh carpet throughout. The room seemed to be missing some furniture or something, there seemed to be a void in the room. "Great location for access to the hospital (Corewell) and also a great Italian restaurant just a short walk away. Appreciated the attached parking ramp. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. The only complaint was on our day of check out, which was at noon, the cleaning people pounded on the door and attempted to enter the room at 8:45am. The Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. When I yelled through the door that i wasn't interested, they left, but pounded on the door again at 10 am. This was...

"The first night was a little rough. There was quite a bit of noise from other rooms & above, but I packed a white noise machine & that helped. Staff was wonderful, kind, & always willing to help. I loved the spaciousness of the room& wood floors. I wish I would’ve kept the smaller room with the city view however because not have natural light was a bit disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. "
