"The beach and lake were so clean, and the water was so warm! We enjoyed all of the amenities this home had to offer. Lots of stairs so young babies/toddlers and elderly may not be the best fit. But we loved it! Great little town called Lakeview nearby to explore & plenty of beautiful state parks & nature preserves in the area to hike. We loved that the beach was nice & shaded so we weren’t so worried about kiddos getting sunburned."

"An excellent place to stay….rooms are good sized, clean and have adequate towels, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is provided. The staff is helpful if there are questions about the area. "

"I really appreciate the cleanliness of this hotel. Things are really spic and span, and it appears that things are in good repair as well. Very nice pool area, although a hot tub would be really nice. When you go down to breakfast an extremely nice and helpful gentleman named Rob will make a delicious waffle for you, and assist you in any way he can."

"What a fantastic cottage. We stayed Monday - Saturday. Located back a private road the cottage had absolutely everything you would need to cook and live comfortably. There are neighbors close but the secluded neighborhood offers lots of privacy. The AC worked great in the main room then plenty of fans to circulate it around. Walk down the steps to the private waterfront area was amazing. The boat shed has a great front porch to relax out of the sun or there are several chairs around a fire pit. Lake was perfect and we swam with the dogs each day. Lake isn’t very deep it starts at a foot and once past the end of the dock is still only 3ft or so. You could swim out a ways and still be less then 6ft. Crystal clear water with plenty of wildlife. We will definitely bookmark this one and look to stay again in the future. The cottage is accurately described and met our needs perfectly. 5/5 for us."

"Just traveling through and this was just an easy on and off the highway, staff very friendly, food was good, light and area related, not my cup of tea, but enough for others that aren't fussy eaters, lol. Good place to stay for a travel through, would recommend it totally."
