Relax at this Private, Peaceful, Dog-Friendly Ecohouse in the Woods.

Lots of privacy and a convenient location make this nice quiet place in the woods a great place to relax. Entertain indoors with a 75" entertainment system, a well-equipped kitchen, and sit-down dining for 15 guests. Outside wander around the 9-acre wood lot with lighted walking trails and lots of wildlife.

In the winter, we have a lighted sledding hill for you to enjoy! We welcome pets and you'll find a dog bed, bowls, treats, and toys for their use.

There are three large parks and two rivers within a mile of the property. Nearby connections to hiking, bicycle, and water hiking trails include the North Country Trail, Lowell Area Trailway, Flat River Water Trail, Grand River Water Trail, Fred Meijer River Valley Trail, Michigan State Snowmobile Trails and more!

A nice quiet location
A nice place to stay, close to Grand Rapids, that is pet friendly. We were in town for a 3 day conference and this place fit our needs very well at a great price.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods!
The cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything you need for a convenient stay. It is surrounded by a beautiful woods, which our dog also loved. We especially enjoyed the trail, which looked magical lit up at night. Great privacy, with great, convenient eateries nearby! Thanks for making your cozy spot available!

Family Retreat in the Woods
Our grandchildren were delighted to use the provided flashlights to walk the ravine/wooded and "lighted pathway". Their imaginations were creating all kinds of stories on their walking adventure. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating an early Thanksgiving and Great Grandma's eighty-eighth birthday.

Love the openness of the property...easiness of having animals.... some things were a bit confusing... like i felt i was not allowed to open the windows without following directions.... which is why not a 5. Overall easy and clean property.

Family get together.
Nice peaceful place to stay. The place clean had lots of things to use to make stay more comfortable. We had 6 people (1 was a 6yr old) we struggled to find places for every one to sleep. Other then that perfect! I would come back.

The Wedding That Wasn't
We booked because my niece was supposed to be getting married in Grand Rapids and didn't want to stay in a hotel with our two dogs. Well, the wedding was called off four days before it was supposed to to happen, but we came anyway. The VRBO was great, very private. There are amazing trails that are lit up so you can enjoy them in the evening. The house has everything you need; we really enjoyed the four seasons room. The entertainment system was nice, the bathroom and kitchen were stocked. We loved how dog friendly the home is right down to bowls and a pooper scooper. The only reason I gave the listing a 4 out of five is because there is no way it would sleep 10 people, 5 max. The host was very responsive; great stay!

Tranquil all around you!
One minor problem and contacted owner. Issue was fixed within an hour! Saw several different wildlife. We used the sunroom a lot and experienced yellow finches which we really don’t experience down south. We replenished birdseed so we could enjoy our entire visit. Son saw bats too! Easy walk to park and walking bridge over Grand River. If you want private surroundings, this place is for you. Will not disappoint. We will be back!!!
