"Our group had a blast staying at this lovely house. We should have extended the stay longer. The kids had fun kayaking, pedaling, and rowing the boat which were provided by the home owner. The adults enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous lake. The interior of the house is very modern and cozy. When opportunity arise, I’ll like to book another weekend getaway there. I’ll like to thank the host again for their hospitable services. "

The pictures of the rental, does not showcase its true beauty: Located in a private street, extremely spacious, a very large dining area and kitchen, the master bedroom has a massive walk in closet and spacious bathroom, the basement is super spacious with beautiful decor. "The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...
