"The hotel Belvedere was historically impressive. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained for the hotel being built in 1902. Rooms and hallway smelled nice with no hint of mildew. The only drawback I could even think of is the fact that our room had two full sized beds when it could easily fit two queen size beds. Would definitely stay there again for the price. It was a third of the price of other hotels in the area."

"Kevin who checked us in was happy to answer all questions. The hotel is a historic site and grandfathered in, so no elevators to room but we were graciously offered assistance with luggage. Room 209 had a comfortable king bed. Streaming TV on wall for which I used my own Netflix login info. Bathroom was modern and had a half glass door. Hot water took a long time to reach the room and I prefer more water pressure (historic building.) I would also prefer to better place to put my toiletries as the wall mounted shelf next to sink was a bit small. Robes were in the closet and very cozy. We set the AC to 64 upon arrival and after dinner the room was still 70. There was a communal coffee station at the end of the hall with a small fridge and freezer and water. In the room, 2 glasses and a carafe were provided. Ice available at the bar until 9pm. Other end of hall had a library and seating. Complimentary wine tasting was done at 4:30pm by Dennis. Keri and Terri were both great on phone and in person. A $36 credit was provided for breakfast and Paige took care of the entire restaurant with kindness and grace. Egg order was undercooked, but they cooked it more for me when asked. Ample parking for a Thursday, grounds adorable and I'd love to see them in the summer. Access to the river with a small area for guests. Patricia O' Connor gave a great fireside chat about the history of Hawley and the Inn (last of the season.) and Keri joined us as well. It was so lovely. Would go again"

"House was very comfortable, beds were great and rooms are large. Right in Holly just minutes from great restaurants and bars."

"It was good but the breakfast voucher they give you is ridiculous. They dont give enough to cover the breakfast. And then they charge more if you get a coffee. I remember when you ate there before they had a set breakfast menue it you didn't have to pay anything. "

"Positives: We recently stayed in this house for three days and found several positive aspects worth highlighting. The living area was incredibly spacious, offering ample room for relaxation and activities. The presence of a gym and massage chairs added to the comfort and convenience of our stay. The property also appeared to be in a safe and secure location, which was reassuring for our family.Negatives: However, our experience was marred by several significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. Firstly, we were disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the house, which did not meet our expectations. We encountered black mold in certain areas and noticed inadequate cleanliness under the beds, where previous guests had left items behind. Additionally, bathroom locks were faulty, and the water flow throughout the house was subpar. The living area's carpet and sofa were not well-maintained, detracting from our comfort.Conclusion: While the spacious living area and safety of the location were positives, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance concerns significantly impacted our stay. We hope that these issues can be addressed to improve the overall experience for future guests.Rating: Considering these factors, we would rate our stay at 2 out of 5 stars."

"We booked this property to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday, as we were going on a ski/snowboarding trip to Elk Mountain. The game room was a key reason for choosing this rental, but we couldn't use it at all due to severe heating issues. The wall & floor heating units did not work in the game room or the downstairs bedrooms, leaving everyone who slept downstairs freezing. The game room was so cold that no one could stay in there for more than a minute. When we contacted the host, they were not helpful and when someone from their staff was sent to check, they didn’t fix it.The listing had 3 bathrooms listed but in reality only 2 had showers, which is an important factor for a group of 16 like us. This should be listed as 2.5 bathrooms. One of the showers also didn't have soap in the labeled dispensers.The game room photo shows a Pac-Man machine that is not actually there.Overall the rental was a disappointment"
