"Small nice hotel in the heart in San Jose on barrio Escalante, very convenient to stay 1-2 nights to enjoy the city and/or night life . Room is average, beds, beddings, towels, soap in the bathroom, no fan or AC, it was a cool weather, so no needed. No elevator for the second floor, about 10 steps. The breakfast is great with traditional Costa Rican gallo pinto, coffee and fruits to start the day. Easy to walk everywhere or call Uber/taxi"

"I've booked a night in a luxury studio suite which was a hundred bucks a night and when I checked in, I was placed in economic room which is half of the luxury price, the bed was dusty, kitchen dirty (seemed like nobody booked it in a while) and most of all the place is infested with bees ... I discovered it in the morning when I went I to bathroom there was the whole nest chilling everywhere, mirror, walls, shower... .. the owner said it was Expedia fault that luxury studio isn't for rent...

"A good stay. The only complaint is that the common kitchen is too small. There's only room for one person at a time, maybe 2 at most. "

"Gustavo and his wife are wonderful and very helpful people, the property is clean and quiet in nice area close to supermarket, a few sodas and restaurants. There's bank in s walking distance if you want to exchange USD. I enjoyed their company and their cats."

"Well, where do I start!I have had the best time! The place is so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to rest and recharge with nature. The service was really approachable and professional. The staff is proud of where they work and to deliver some of amazing food. I stayed for 5 days and tasted nearly every dishes on the menu. All dishes are created and composed with care looking at flavours, texture and originality! I loved it and was looking forward to seating down in the restaurant...

"little far from center of city but has restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. The ladies at the front desks went out of their way to help with our concerns. There was no hot water for shower and no air condition. Windows had to be opened invited bugs and noise."
