"Last minute and with a kitchen was a little dated but since the other hotel stiffed us we were happy to be here!!! "

"Everything was fine but was hit with a stink of a kids locker room when we walked into our room. The internet was down the first night and no cell service to find another motel. They did not have another room to accommodate us."

"Decent, basic accommodations. Close to Hiway but no traffic noise. Otherwise quiet (but not a busy time). Free basic breakfast. My only complaint would be a seasonal issue, but one must walk around the outside to get to lobby/breakfast from room, and there was both snow and very slick ice (from roof dripping). A lawsuit waiting to happen? "

"Overall my stay was 9/10. The room is spacious with everything you need and match what’s listed in the description from the hotel. The two downside of the hotel was the bed it was hard as a rock and not comfortable at all & the shower. The shower head was not adjustable & the pressure was high. I’m 5’3 so is sprayed directly in my face with tremendous force. So I had to stand off to the side which was an annoyance. Otherwise everything was great. " This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know. "
