There is a beautiful view from the porch that will make your morning start well. Minutes away from the brewery, playground, and many restaurants

Great property to use as base camp for lots of hikes and outdoor excursions. The house was big and felt very comfortable for all 4 of us. Great walking distance to restaurants. We would stay here again.

This house perfect. The location is great and walking distance to right downtown. It is very quiet and safe in the neighborhood. The house was well stocked and directions were clear. We would love to book again!

Great vacation
Really nice comfy, clean and quiet house. Great location for exploring Mt. Shasta area, Castle Crags State Park and lots of waterfalls. Walk two short blocks and you’re at Dunsmuir Brewery in the heart of town. Ely is a very responsive host. Hope to come back some day.

Great spot for families to visit Mt. Shasta and Trinity-Shasta Forest
Our family stayed here for a week and we loved this house. Between the ample space available in each room, the kitchen amenities, and the location, we were able to settle in, relax, but also get out and enjoy the area without difficulty. We needed to park on the street since our sedan couldn't get up the driveway's angles, so just be aware since there are some stairs to get up from the street. Otherwise, this was a great house, and the hosts are kind and responsive.

Nice Location and Home
We were looking for a home in a peaceful area, nice amenties and close to lots of things to do. This century home fit the bill. This home is close to lots of activities from hiking, shopping, fishing, skiing (in season) and sight seeing to name a few. Groceries and restaurants are nearby. Loved the sounds of the couple trains in the distance as they passed through. House is set up for lots of adults ad even has a crib available for a little one. Two bedrooms are on the main floor with another large one upstairs. The kitchen has the basics for cooking and we have made some suggestions to the owner how to enhance that. The steps are a bit challenging and we found the steps leading from the back patio were an easier way to bring in and take out our luggage. We did not use the patio as it was not quite in-season for that but would be enjoyable when available. Sitting on the porch was nice at the end of the day. Communication with the owner was immediate when we had a couple questions. We would return.

We had an awesome time checking out the beautiful little town of Dunsmuir. We did a lot of hiking, and driving around and chasing beautiful waterfalls; Hedge Creek Falls, Mossbrae Falls, and the Upper, Middle, and Lower McCloud River Falls. Loved the Castle Crags and had a lovely dinner at The Dining Car Restaurant at the Railroad Park Resort. The house was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I loved the jet tub and the faux fireplace/heater in the back bedroom! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely return!

Truly amazing home 🏡
Our stay in this amazing home in the town of Dunsmuir was simply incredible!! This cute home is very spacious! The awesome jetted bathtub is epic and works very well!! 3 bedrooms!! Close to walk to everything in town!!! The fireplace was so beautiful!! You can purchase a fire log for $6.50 at the local grocery store in town , it lasted over four hours !! This home is close to Mount Shasta!! Communication with the owner was impeccable!! Very safe neighborhood!! We will definitely stay here again!!!
