"Mark was friendly and accommodating … excellent stay bed was so comfy slept like a baby ! Only making people aware that if mobility is an issue , I can be difficult . But fantastic stay and will definitely book again if in the area ! Lovely little village with a stunning breakfast around then corner at The cricklade club ! "

"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Once you connect with owners and send copy of identification, it's easy in and out of the place. It's within easy walking distance to the city center, great wifi, comfy beds and easy communication with Alex through WhatsApp. Main busses run right out front! Thank you!"

"Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "

"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat. The boat itself was freshly made up for our group, it was toasty warm with central heating and a log burner. 2 single sofa beds in the lounge were a great solution.
