"Our room (#3) was tired and stark. The bed, although comfortable, was stuck in the corner so was difficult to access the far side. We appreciate that this was set up to maximise floor space for a wheelchair user but didn’t look good. The bathroom was also tired but clean. Our big positives were that the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good and we were able to have our small dog under the table whilst we ate breakfast. "

"Spent a night here on the back to the UK. La Barque is a fairly ordinary French 2 star, but it is in good condition and is very clean. The highlight of our stay was the great meal we had in the restaurant. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. "

"The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable but there was no door on the bathroom and there was no climate control, except a window. We were facing the courtyard which people were enjoying until late at night. Unfortunately because it was warm and we had the window open, our room became very smokey and the noise made it difficult to sleep. The hotel served its purpose but I do not think we would stay there again."
