"The lounge was good. The bed was good. Dirty marks on linen/pillow cases. No tea towel. No milk for tea or coffee. Holes in under the window. Dirty marks on walls."

"The owner and staff are lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people."

"Booked through hotels.com Lovely staff in reception, Parking was easy and we slept well (reasonably firm mattress and pillow which was ideal for me) It was quite warm so we slept with the window open, not a problem. We were supposed to receive a free breakfast (according to our booking) but were told they don’t do breakfasts although we could, if we wished, pay £5.99 for a breakfast box, from reception or just mooch over to Greggs. "The property was in a good condition apart from the smell coming from the bathroom- it made the whole place smell like a sewer for entire stay. This made it unpleasant - I complained to the managers but did not get a response. The bed could do with updating as it was a little lumpy. "

"First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). The room though was a good size & very clean with a good shower, plenty of channels on the TV including streaming. had a good nights sleep which is the main thing though so that's okay "
