"We had a great stay at Westgate. We appreciated the great service provided by the front desk and bartending staff. Room was clean. Building felt safe. Perfect walking distance to Grand Central or anywhere in Midtown. If there was only one thing I would point out is that the frosted window in the bathroom was allowing outside air to come in which made the bathroom very cold each morning. "The room was a nice size. The hotel is very conveniently located for Penn station and subway stations. Some places are walkable. The room had not been cleaned when we arrived but they fixed that soon after. Everything was fine."

"Hallways are kinda dirty and dark. Liked the little room. But will only stay when they have a special. Not worth the price of say a Hampton Inn. "

"We enjoyed our 5-night stay to see Broadway shows. Hotel is a few blocks from Grand Central Station, where there is a MTA shuttle train to Times Square. We also had the option to walk there. Room was comfortable, and we could not hear the occupants of adjacent rooms. Loved the complementary beverages from the bar; we carried them to our room a couple of nights. While the only breakfast option was a $45 buffet, there is a sandwich shop next door with fresh and hot foods and a decent latte. "
