"Bear in mind this is a motel and the doors are on the outside of the building. There are NO pictures on Expedia of this and I found out when I looked up the building on google maps on my way there. Other than that, Raleigh is unbelievably expensive to stay overnight in hotels or motels so the price was not too bad but still overpriced which I’m sure is just due to being in Raleigh. "Only one issue. One of the elevators did not work during new Years which meant longer wait times, luckily the other elevator was quick. Thanks for a very nice stay, the rooms are nice and elegant. The views are amazing. The staff was very friendly, especially Melanie. "

"This motel is a great value! The price is affordable, the lobby is absolutely immaculate and has complimentary coffee and dog treats. The owners were professional and a pleasure to interact with. "Spacious, good layout. Clean. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Good location. Has the basics. It is an older property so more attention could be paid to upkeep: doors off hinges, some doors don’t close properly. Libby bathroom needs attention partition disconnected, one toilet not working. All in all, I would stay here again. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff is accommodating. However, the beds are way too soft I felt like I was on an inverted table. I didn’t sleep well at all . Then the bathroom shower door wouldn’t close all the way so the floor would get wet and you have to put multiple towels on the floor to keep it dry ."
