"This relatively inexpensive hotel at the southern end of the city was a pleasant surprise. The area has significantly gentrified since I was a student at UTS in the late 1970s. The hotel itself is modern and well presented. The nearby Spice Alley is definitely worth a visit for a huge variety of inexpensive Asian cuisine."

"This property has seen better days. I had a ‘deluxe king’ room. There was nothing ‘deluxe’ about it. It was certainly clean and freshly painted but the flooring has been ruined by a water incident or similar and there were no floor coverings - it would be cold to walk on in winter. Bed was fine, closet was sub Ikea. Window curtains did not fully cover the windows. In general I would rate it 2.5 stars. But the location is unbeatable and the staff were very helpful."
