"Expectations should be set low for college accommodation at Cambridge. It is not luxury but it was better than what I received as a student. The breakfast in the historic main hall of Jesus college was the best!"

"We were a bit dubious when we first saw the outside but the interior was bright and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of choice for breakfast. Ideal location for Cambridge city centre - a pleasant 20 minute stroll through the park ( or catch a bus from the front of the hotel).We would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed one night as we were running a half marathon the next morning. Disappointing that there was no late check out facility or anywhere to leave bags. But the room was clean and comfortable with kettle and hairdryer."

"Arriving at 3.30 we had to fight our way to the bar of this Irish club to check in (it happened to be St. Patrick's Day !) The barmaid did come and show us our room however, a triple with 3 single beds. It was very cold and the radiator stayed stone cold until at least 7 p.m. and was cold in the morning when we were getting up. The room was very basic and there was no waste paper bin. The TV didn't work - the aerial wire was just hanging loose - and there were 2 wide steps down from the door to...

"I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. Give me this over a nameless boring chain hotel every time. Thank you David and team at Cross Keys Chatteris. I’ll be back for sure."
