"I appreciated the welcome call I received from the staff, guiding me to find the hotel, which was nice and easy. I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. I was shown to my room, which was fine for one night. I slept really well, the room was nice and warm and the bed was fine. There was a nice hot shower and decent bathroom. "We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet."

"We had the twin room with the bathroom across the corridor. Due to this dressing gowns were provided which were large and cosy. Very large room with space for 2 chairs and coffee table. Breakfast for £5 was amazing! Good ale. "
