"Sam provides a really good offering for the ex back packers who don't want the price or fussiness of a hotel. A great pub with a varied customer base, always busy and has very pleasant helpful staff. Showers and kitchen serviced regularly by cleaning staff. "Excellent 3 star motel and good value for money. Reception staff were fantastic. The rooms are extremely large and equipped with everything you need. Small kitchenette, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glasses and an iron and ironing board. We booked a twin room which had a double bed and a single bed. My only gripe was that the single bed is not suitable for an adult. The mattress is basic and too firm and was very uncomfortable. "The room was clean and tidy. The managers were lovely - could not apologise enough for keeping us waiting to check in even though I had not read the fine print to notify them the day before with our arrival time. They were only five minutes away. "
