"Great, clean property, I like the old school European charm (small bathrooms) ha! The bed was a little firm, but doable. The best parts about this place are the friendly employees and the location can't be beat. It's right in the middle of Heraklion's pedestrian district: shopping, cafes, restaurants, etc. I would stay here again."

"Ich hätte mir wirklich keinen schöneren Urlaub vorstellen können: das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet, sauber, das Bett war bequem, Terrasse und Pool sehr einladend, die Aussicht ein absoluter Traum. Nicht mal 10 Minuten entfernt ein toller Strand, 3 Minuten bis zum nächsten kleinen Supermarkt. Saer ist wahnsinnig gastfreundlich und offen. Ich habe mich vom der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und werde bestimmt wiederkommen :) sehr sehr große Empfehlung!"

"It was a nice time at Pela mare hotel, the ambience is lovely and quiet for a family relaxation. What is unique about the Property is the aerial view, the wonderful Greek culture and amazing staff. My stay was okay until my check out time and was slammed with an unplanned bill which was based on not passing information correctly. "Iro hotel felt a little abandoned as there were no reception staff, restaurant or pool bar at the hotel. All the services were next door at Sergio hotel. Restaurant in Sergio was very good and staff extremely helpful and friendly. A little more information for the guests in Hotel Iro would have been good. First night we did not know where to go for dinner. When we found it it was great, as was the greek entertainment and dancing after dinner. A very nice surprise. "

"It is a small family run hotel. The rooms are nice and tidy. Location is perfect just a few minutes from the promenade. Staff was very kind and helpful. The only bad thing I noticed was the shower head was a bit detached from the wall in the shower, but that didnt affect the use. Breakfast was continental, last day we had pancakes which was also nice. Overall very good price/value."

"Was here to visit Crete and the apartment is furnished nicely . The kitchen is a hot plate and electric tea kettle. The apartment has a balcony and great views of the Mediterranean A kilometer from bus stop up hill. Open windows allow for great breeze as well as view of water. There are dogs next to place that keep you up all night."
