"I liked the size of the room. The biscuit and gravy breakfast was enjoyable. I think the hotel is a little pricey because there aren't any other hotel/motels in the area. This should be under $100. The front was out of coffee when I went down as breakfast was ending and the bags of chips were outdated on the first night in. The best thing here is the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful!"

"It was fine for what we needed. A clean, bug free place to sleep and refresh. The woman who checked us in was pleasant and helpful to the surrounding area. The motel itself is like one from the 1980’s. However, as soon as you open the door you can see it is clean and smell the cleanliness. We ordered a Smoke-free room, and before we opened the door, I had my reservations because the drapes looked like they were stained with nicotine. It was only stain, the room had no smoke smell. "The hotel is a bit older however they are in process of a remodel that is looking great! The room was great and the front desk lady Heather was an absolute sweetheart. It’s off season so there was only 1 other couple staying at the hotel. Will definitely return and so excited to see the updated rooms! "

"This place was spectacular. The decor made you feel like you were living inside the movie Clue or maybe the house in Locke and Key. It was very clean, quiet, and just absolutely beautiful. We will be back next fall and we won’t bother looking to stay elsewhere. I would give our stay a 12 out of five stars. "

"Charming cottage with beautiful lake views. The owner was friendly and extremely accommodating. She made us feel VERY welcome! The space worked well for us, but just a note for families with small children who will be sleeping in the bunk room: the privacy screen does block off the area but it opens right into the living room, so won't do much for noise/light.
