"If you have lived in Brazil this place will be great. If you haven't you might want to stay away. This place has the best location right on the beach. Just beware that the street lights don't turn off at night and people are up late and then others are up really early and aren't quiet. The AC worked great once I figured out I had to turn on a little breaker first. We stayed on the top floor that they have seemed to turn the roof to into 3 rooms with make shift walls. We saw 2 cockroaches which...

"Since we arrived tried to contact Expedia that we were upset about the room but due to poor internet connection could not get thru. Had to walk steep stairs to the 3rd floor, of an old building, huffing n puffing, rattan on chairs tattered, dilapidated mattress, filthy bacteria laden string to pull flush, toilet cover cracked, insecure seat, lumpy pillows, old stained mirror, breakfast laid out in old plastic containers.Horrible! "The ceiling started pouring water onto the bed. The staff kind of just shrugged and didn’t offer us anything. Granted they only spoke portugese and we were leaving shortly after but still."

"AC was leaking all over the wall and the floor. They sent someone to fix it but it was leaking during my whole stay. They did offer to change my room but I was already settled in and said no. They did make the bed and change the towels every day. Breakfast was lackluster but included with the stay. Other guests were extremely noisy when walking up and down the stairs, especially the kids who were vocally loud as well while running up and down the stairs. "
