Kossies coffee shop is excellent and just down the hill 50 feet away. The area should improve over time and this hotel is...

"We loved this hotel! The staff was exceptional! Each one of them was friendly and helpful and seemed to really care about their guests. The “Gat” (cat) motif throughout the hotel was well done without being too much. The hotel is in a great location with a Metro station close by. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel when traveling to Lisbon."

"What this hotel lacks in luxury and facilities it more than makes up for in location and value fir money. I would definitely recommend it for couples on a budget for a couple of nights or if you just need somewhere to stay after a night out."

"I just want to make it clear that this place is a hostel/hotel although we did have a private bathroom the rooms were very small but good since we only stayed a night, the staff were very kind. When you enter you must take the elevator or stairs to the first floor and that is where you'll find the hotel/hostel, it's confusing at first. Overall good stay if ur on a budget, the door knob had problems closing but we ended up figuring it out. "

"It felt more like a b&b rather than a hotel… considering we couldn’t have the breakfast as our flight was at 6am so we checked out early, it would have been nice if there was at least coffee or tea in the room… not the best stay for the money "
