"our stay was perfect other than the breakfast which we thought was overpriced and barely warm and the bacon imo was under cooked and no variety from day to day! Also the food menus in the grill I thought were poor! alright if you like chicken but again not much to choose from. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and the location was very good."

"Very comfortable room. Quite large in size. Could easily park my car in front of room, which was convenient. Walk to restaurant for a good meal. Staff were great. Good location too. "

"Staying at Fa was truly a mixed bag; moments of bliss and delight but times of frustration. There was plenty of parking and the location in Helmsley is beautiful. The welcome at hotel and spa reception was par excellence. The quality of the evening meal (food and service) was wonderful. A true highlight of the stay. "Due to the festive season, the Spa closed early, which meant when we checked in just before 6pm, we were unable to use the facilities. I advised the staff member that this was a large factor in booking the stay but I was not made aware of the changes in spa closing times. He was brilliant and extended my checkout to 12pm as well as upgrading our room to a Privelidge room. "
