"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Lovely cottage. Very peaceful. The log burner was nice to use as it took a while for the cottage to warm up with the heaters and the day we arrived it was pretty cold. The cottage had everything you need for a stay. We all agreed that the beds and pillows were very comfortable and we all slept well. Nice location to visit Leyburn, Hawes and Aysgarth. The only issue one of our party had was with the pressure of the shower. However, this is mentioned and personally I did not have a problem with...

"The property was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and bright. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the area very peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden to enjoy too. Just a few minutes by car into Barnard Castle - Barnard Castle was such a pleasant surprise. Fab meal in the Three Horseshoes. We loved the area with the river to walk alongside and the impressive attractions in the area - like High Force, Bowes Museum (wow!) and Beamish. We will visit again."
