"Was supposed to be pay at hotel but charged a week in advance which wasnt ideal. Main pub was so dead when we arrived they were serving food and closed early at 830pm which was very disappointing after a long journey. Room was a great size. Bedding smelled stale, but looked very nice Some ofvthe fittings and fixtures were a bjt dated and had seen better days. On site parking was good. Toiletries were minimal so glad I brought my own. It was ok but not sure I'd stay there again."

"The room had everthing i needed. The bed wasn't the most comfortably,but was lively and clean. The room overal was quite dated..tiny tv but i wasnt there to watch television. The shower was small but but very useable..The room was lovely and warm on entering and made for a cosy evening . I only booked the one night as a solo traveller and it did the job.."

"When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed "

"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...
