"We actually booked our stay for just one day but we had to extend our stay for one more. We had a very terrible experience as we lost our whole cash that we carried for the entire trip from the hotel. Because the bag in which the money was kept was not taken to any place with us and it was in the hotel itself. "Summary We'd recommend the Bamboo house for one night specifically to the do the hike only. Go for the cheapest room. We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area.
