"We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. Staff was incredible friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had such a unique room that had 2 floors (bathroom on the bottom floor, sleeps 4 in total, and a small private outdoor sitting area). We had easy outdoor access to our room, steps away from the Hotel's own restaurant which was lovely and was an very convenient. "The room was nice. Be sure to not try to walk to this property from the train station. Google maps says 34 minutes, but half of it is a mountain trail, steep and narrow. We should have turned back, but we kept thinking, "we can make it." We did, barely. Took an hour and a half with luggage. "

"The elevator was broken and stuck in between floors. There were barely any hallway lights . The place was very clean and the area was very vibrant close to everything! Marco was a great host telling us what to do where to eat. I would go there again."

"We stayed here for two nights while we took a day trip to Stromboli on the ferry. The room didn't have much to it, just some beds and a small desk, but we didn't need any more than that. The room had a lovely balcony, and was in a very convenient location for both food and access to the harbor."

"We stayed in a self contained apartment/Villa at the residence. The staff were extremely helpful and there was daily entertainment for our 6 year old. There was a theatrical play every evening, an on site restaurant, bar, tennis courts, Sauna etc. Perfect place to relax with the family. The private beach was clean but a bit stoney. There was free use of boats, surfs etc. There are excursions to the neighbouring islands. Highly recommended."

"The person who was checking us in couldn't speak English at all, and we don't speak Italian. He demanded from us a city tax of 2eur/person and become very upset when we didn't want to pay it ( that's because according to email from Expedia it should be 1eur/person). We translated the email for him but, nevertheless, he was quite unpleasant towards us. Later in the day some other guy (with a bit of English) waved the payment off but the two of them treated us like an evil necessity till the end...
