"This is an excellent property that is perfect for side trips up and down the coast from Taormina to Catania, Syracuse, Noto and beautiful beaches. The area is quiet and the views are spectacular. The hosts Mario and Angela are lovely and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable."

"The view of Isola Bella from the private balcony and from inside the family room with large window was breathtaking. House is very spacious with each bedroom having its own private bath & shower. Shower space is bigger than most properties in Italy and water pressure incredible. Host is very responsive and gave us a detail tour upon check-in which we appreciated. "Beautiful apartment, short walk to market and town. Be advised the path is very steep. We met the owner just outside of the central area, where he took our bags and drove us to the place. The apartment is well appointed but was missing some minor accessories, like shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer. We got lost after venturing out the next day, we couldnt find the exact path back, and had to call the owner for a map. It is close to the cable car and Antico Teatre. Also if you venture off...

"The apartment itself is very clean and has a nice terrace with a very stunning view. There were some minor issues, one of the fans was not working so it was pretty hot at night. It should be noted, as others have said, that this place is very difficult to access. The access road is extremely steep and narrow, so prepare yourself for a difficult drive. The host outlined instructions and provided pictures, but we arrived at night and had some difficulty getting to where we needed to go."

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"
