"Very nice place to spend the night when visiting Guadalest. It’s only ten minutes away from the town and the castle. The location is blessed by a wonderful view of the whole valley down to the Mediterranean. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is excellent."

We chose a first floor apartment which obviously had more facilities than the double room and it was lovely. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful 4 night stay. Would recommend for an inexpensive break. "This is a lovely hotel and my room was so cute, however I have a sensitivity to scents and this hotel has quite a variety of scented accessories. From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps. My room was in the basement level and besides it having a bit of a damp smell I was literally overcome with the power of the scented candles in my room, it was so bad I had to ask the desk clerk if she could remove which she graciously did,...

"The price was much too high for what you received. The bedrooms were tiny with no touches of "niceness". The breakfast was much too basic, and was a huge disappointment. In the end, it was somewhere to JUST spend the night. Our family was incredibly disappointed. The grounds and general entrance to the hotel were ugly and not at all kept up. We kept on thinking about the potential that this location actually had. They could have half of the rooms that they do, but increase the size of the ones...
