"Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). Breakfast will fit any diet. Heat is more than ample. We asked them to recommend a driver to could take us into the mountains for c. 4 hours, and one of the brothers volunteered for a very fair price. Recommended without qualification."

Nice view of the village. Great location, you can walk up to main square and pass by the grocery store, if you need water, snacks etc. We parked on the road. It is also a quick drive or nice walk to Lake Scanno. Mario was very nice. We do not speak italian but with the help of google translate, we managed...
